Sheldrake Press
Work With Us
Sheldrake Press offers traineeships to graduates seeking to enter the publishing industry. These are voluntary placements, not paid posts, but we will always give you something for lunch and we have a scheme to help you with travel expenses. If you stay long enough, you will be able to gain experience in several different departments, including editorial, production, sales and marketing, foreign rights, finance and general management. Languages are an advantage, especially French, German and Italian. The vast majority of our trainees go on to secure full-time jobs in publishing, so we know the formula works. If you wish to apply for a traineeship, please contact:

Quote of the Week

Tender-Heartedness
'Billy, in one of his nice new sashes,
Fell in the fire and was burnt to ashes;
Now, although the room grows chilly,
I haven't the heart to poke poor Billy.'
When Grandmama Fell Off The Boat: The Best of Harry Graham, Inventor of Ruthless Rhymes
