Sheldrake Press exists to publish books, inform and entertain readers, promote conservation policies and enrich, in so far as it is able, the style and content of everyday life. We do not seek to make money except through the pursuit and fulfilment of these objectives. We will not use personal information gathered in the course of our business for any but these objectives. Personal Information
If you subscribe to our newsletter or pre-order any of our books, we will ask for your e-mail address and store it on our server. If you order any of our books, you will be directed to our warehouse where you will be asked for your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and credit card details. Any information we hold about you will be treated in strictest confidence and held securely on our server or our agents’ servers in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not divulge any of your details to any third party without your permission, except when it is necessary for us to fulfil an order or satisfy a request made by you.

If you have subscribed to our newsletters, we will send you e-mails about new book releases, press reviews, events and other publicity relating to our titles. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking here.

Administrative Matters
If you have pre-ordered or ordered any of our books and there is a problem of some kind, we will send you an e-mail notifying you what is happening and asking what you would like us to do about it.

Focus Groups and Questionnaires
It is sometimes extremely helpful to know what readers and potential readers think about a new cover design, a new book idea or a plan to revise an existing book. Analysis of Site Visits
We may want to use information collected anonymously about the number of visitors entering our web-site and where they go within it, we will do this in order to find out whether the structure or content of the site needs amendment, whether we should develop additional titles on certain subjects or reprint certain titles sooner than others.
